Welcome
to Rose Charities Vietnam ! ...
19th July 2007 To my most dear friends, I want to take a few moments to introduce all of our friends to Rose Charities, a non-profit organization with which I have become recently involved. For the longest time, I had had this vision to bring all of us together in an organization that will do great things through charitable activities that have far-reaching impact to other human life. Not only will the endeavor and the journey undertaken create a unique and inspiring experience but I know that seeing will lead to believing. And by doing this real hands-on participation, not only will a difference be made in Vietnam, but many unexpected rewards to will be brought to our lives , above all long lasting friendship built on memorable legacy. For that, I thank all of you and welcome you and anyone you know, with a shared passion to help, to Rose Charities and its Vietnam Chapter. Through our main web portal, www.rosecharities.org, you had found much information about Rose Charities, who we are, what we do, our global chapters, our past and future projects, up coming events and our organization leaders and members. Here, I want to tell you about the Rose Charities Vietnam Chapter that was recently formed, an initiative by a number of friends from all walks of life in different parts of the world. They are also your friends, your doctors, your country officials and representatives, the people that you know. In Vietnam, Rose Charities will perform its mission in a wide range of activities that include but not limiting to education, healthcare, rehabilitation, poverty reduction, disaster relief, and micro-credit financing. We had gained support from the local authority and local charity groups. Already, we have two up-coming projects, one is a micro-credit financing network to be established in alignment with Rose Charities poverty reduction objectives and two is to fund a proposal that teaches 20 blind people using Braille language and basic craftwork skills to make a living. I know that you are pondering about the commitment that is required for your participation with Rose and wonder about how you can fit it in to your busy life. In fact, I had been in your shoes not too long ago, thinking the same thing. At Rose Charities, you can participate and get involved in many ways based on your comfort level and time permit, ranging from simply spreading the words to making small financial contribution, or volunteering your professional expertise at home, or traveling to remote areas of needs. Everyone, anyone can join. What is required is a conscious mind that is determined to touch lives, wanted to make a difference and desired to help those who are less fortunate realizing their dreams. I believe that, best of all, along the process we will also find ours. And that is the work worth doing. Yours truly, Louis Lap H. Nguyen Rose Charities Vietnam Chairman P.S: Donations and volunteers can be designated specifically to Vietnam projects, please follow the link http://www.rosecharities.org or you can simply contact me. |
