RoseCharities is a ground level, person-to-person international charitable organization founded by field workers disillusioned the waste, corruption and dishonesty prevalent in parts of the 'aid industry'. Administration costs are close to zero and donations can be tracked down to utilization point in the field.  We are part of the original RoseCharities org..founded in 1998... watch out for commercial copycats !   We welcome honest support and contacts at any level.    We would love to hear from you.

WHO WE ARE

 

Rose Charities is a group of  individually independent international organizations which share the common aim of cost effective rehabilitation for those in need.  

We are aware that even the smallest initiative can plant the seeds of hope which can grow into significant improvements in quality of life and that so little can go so far.  We aim for simplicity, sustainability, and effectiveness.  

We shun high administration costs and strive to ensure that every donation is used to its maximum potential in the field.  Our administrative staff are from all walks of life and invariably volunteers.  

Our scope is multisectorial (depending on the ROSE organization) covering any area which will contribute to rehabilitation and hope for those in need.  

We believe strongly in the 'ground -> upwards' approach where, face to face,  the needs of real people can be addressed with sensitivity, flexibility and empathy, not just as group statistics.  

We welcome input, ideas, donations, volunteers, students.  We have no specific social, political or religious affiliations save for a mutual desire to assist our fellow human beings in need.

 It is the purpose of ROSE Charities  to  implement, build capacity for, and support simple,  sustainable, cost  effective  rehabilitation programs for the marginalized of the world. 

To ensure that donated, earned or entrusted funds to ROSE Charities are channeled directly and efficiently to those programs with absolute minimum, if not zero, administration costs. 

To maintain an open, transparent environment for  to donors to see, right to field level,  exactly where their funds are going and what they are doing and to share in the joy of the assistance they are bringing by their generosity. 

To assist in bringing together those who wish to learn with  those who can teach,  those who are in rehabilitative need with  those who can rehabilitate, and those who wish to give with those who are in real need to receive.
