    In Cambodia...  Rose Charities implements  child surgery,  sight restoration,  and simple safe sustainable surgical and medical treatments for the poor.   At the same time, local personnel are giving training in these procedures

     In  Sri Lanka... Rose Charities  has continued its child health, post-trauma counseling and education, programs started after the terrible Boxing day 2004 tsunami.

The organizers of Rose Charities  believe in honesty and clarity to donor and recipient alike. In Cambodia It does not present as a foreign registered organization under a 'Cambodian' name. Donors funds go to help Cambodians in their own  country.

Rose Charities  Canada is incredibly cost effective. USD 25 will restore the sight to a blind Cambodian  USD 50 or less will repair a cleft palate.  USD10 will allow a play therapy afternoon for 20 traumatized Sri Lankan children.

Founded in 1999, Rose Charities Canada  is the oldest and founding member of the ROSEcharities / ROSE Rehab 'network' .  In 2002 its eye clinic was looted of all equipment  vehicles  by  crooks.  Despite this significant setback, the same eye clinic, now run by Rose Charities Cambodia is Cambodia's foremost eye clinic for the poor.  It is due to perform its  10,000th operation in 2006.
