A previous project in conjunction with another group assisting youths has now been discontinued (though continues with the original founding organization).
A new project (2011) assisting literacy in the Rupanuni area through local school(s) is currently in planning phase. This area, close to the Brazilian border is very poor with the main source of income being from cattle-ranching. Eco-tourism however is increasing due to the areas incredible and unique wildlife and natural landscape.
